• Duntan West approached ILEA HQ for a chapter in Nigeria
• Jibola Ponnle and Duntan West began the formation committee, 2 volunteers from Nigeria event industry

2011 – 2012

• 3 volunteers joined the formation committee :- Bomi Adeboya, Akin Ariyo and Ozo Adeyeye
• ILEA Nigeria incorporation certificate issued.
• First board members chosen.
